Quantity in Stock

Quantities in stock are updated daily. Occasionally an item listed in our on line store may have been sold since the last update. If an item you order is no longer available, we will contact you as soon as possible. In most cases the products are one of a kind and we can not back order the item.

Warranty and Condition

Since our products are salvaged material we offer them FOR SALE "AS IS". We attempt to accurately describe the condition of the product but there may be differences between our perception of the condition and yours. If you have any doubt about what you are ordering feel free to send us an email or give us a call.

Products are not guaranteed to be in safe operating condition. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to have products (especially electrical, heating, and cooling equipment) inspected and serviced as required by a professional before installing or using them.

Return Policy

Even though we sell our products "as is" we will accept returns for STORE CREDIT ONLY for any reason with in 7 days of receipt. In general, we will not credit the shipping cost in either direction.

If we make a mistake in your order (hopefully very rare) we will reimburse you for return shipping and will send the correct items with the shipping cost on us. If the correct items are not available we will refund your entire order including shipping.

If you need to return an item, please contact us by email for a Returned Material Authorization (RMA). Include your order number, the item that you want to return, and the reason for the return. We will not credit your account with out an RMA.

Shipping Policy

We only ship to addresses in the United States.

Items that meet size and weight limits are shipped via UPS. Shipping charges are displayed on the check out page after you have entered your zip code. Items are typically shipped with in 3 business days.

Oversized and heavy items must be shipped via "Freight". Items subject to this requirement include a note in the product description. Shipping costs listed on the check out pages for "Freight" orders are estimates only. We will contact you with a quote for shipping charges at which point you may choose to accept the charge or cancel the order. Orders from the greater Rochester, NY area may be delivered by the ReHouse staff for a discounted cost.

In addition, we may not be able to accurately calculate UPS shipping charges some normal sized items. These items will also include a note in the product description. We will notify you if the shipping charge needs to be adjusted on your order.

In Store Pick-up

You may choose to pick up your order at our physical store in Rochester, NY. In this case there will be no shipping charges. When you select “In Store Pick-up” as the shipping method, we will hold your order at the store until you pick it up or for 5 business days. After 5 days the order will be canceled.

If you wish to hold the order longer than 5 days, contact us. A non-refundable 20% deposit is required. With a deposit we will hold your order for up to one month. After that time, the order is canceled and your deposit is forfeited.

Sales Tax

ReHouse is required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to addresses with in New York state. The check out page will include an estimate of the tax due (8%) for such purchases. It may be slightly higher or lower than the actual tax for your municipality. If so, we will adjust the tax on your order after we receive it.

In general we do not collect sales tax for addresses outside of New York state. The only exception is when the “In Store Pick-up” shipping method is selected. In that case we will adjust your order to include sales tax for Rochester, NY after we receive it.

If you have a New York state shipping address but are tax exempt please contact us.

Privacy Policy

ReHouse uses Yahoo! and Paypal to process orders through our on line store. We believe these companies provide state of the art security and privacy for our customer’s order information. Any personal customer information that ReHouse receives directly as a result or your order is used only to process the order. We will not sell or give the information to any other company or organization. We will only contact you with issues or information directly related to your order.
